Analyst
Zurich North America is hiring an Analyst to join our Crop team! We are open to hiring talent that will work a hybrid schedule from the Anoka, MN office.
As a member of Zurich's Crop team, you will enjoy the opportunity to fully apply and hone your regulatory administration skills. Specifically, you will have experience working in a highly regulated office environment or understanding insurance continuing education, licensing, and appointment processes and procedures. Demonstrate an understanding of customer needs and respond to and resolve customer inquiries.
In this role you will be responsible for:
- Assisting to resolve issues, judge when to pass complex queries onto or involve others, and to provide effective service and clear advice to colleagues and customers
- Follow established procedures to ensure adequate resources are available to meet work requirements
- Develop a practical understanding of how processes and systems in own area of work relate to the management of risk and compliance
- Responsible for coordinating with internal teams and state departments of insurance to complete course filings.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree and 2 or more years of experience in insurance, state filing regulatory operations, underwriting services or customer service area.
OR - High School Diploma or Equivalent and 4 or more years experience in insurance, state filing regulatory operations, underwriting services or customer service area.
OR - Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice, including an Associate Degree and 2 or more years of experience in insurance, state filing regulatory operations, underwriting services or customer service area.
AND - Knowledge of commercial insurance products.
- Knowledge of state filing laws and regulations applicable to insurance products.
- Strong prioritization and organization skills; including multi-tasking workflows.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Crop and/or agricultural knowledge
- Knowledge of insurance operations
- Customer service experience
- Knowledge of requirements for working in an insurance regulatory environment
- Experience with a Licensing data base
- Managing multiple responsibilities
- Strong organizational skills and team collaboration
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
Your pay at Zurich is based on your role, location, skills, and experience. We follow local laws to ensure fair compensation. You may also be eligible for bonuses and merit increases. If your expectations are above the listed range, we still encourage you to apply—your unique background matters to us. The pay range shown is a national average and may vary by location. The proposed Salary range for this position is $52,000.00 - $85,100.00, with short-term incentive bonus eligibility set at 10%.
