Crop Commission Associate
Zurich North America is hiring a Crop Commission Associate to join their Finance team! We are open to hiring talent in our Zurich office located in Anoka, MN. The successful candidate under guidance will support the Business Partnering function for a Business Unit by leveraging basic financial information and analysis to highlight key trends to provide recommendations to address areas for concern.
Position Responsibilities:
- Processing/verifying commission payments for all lines of insurance.
- Monitoring Holds/No pay agencies.
- Keying and monitoring of commission exceptions, commission reinstatements and manual commission payments.
- Monitor and manage agency commission overpayments.
- Share daily SAP balancing with fellow processors.
- Partner with team on the monthly commission draw disbursement process; mail out the draw summaries and checks (if applicable).
- Customer Service via Commission call center and team email inbox.
- Coordinating with agencies to onboard direct deposit and online commission access.
- Timely keying and ongoing monitoring of commission rates to ensure commissions are paid accurately per executed commission contracts such as standard commission contracts, exception contracts, income deferral agreements, payable agreements and split agreements.

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree and no prior experience in the Accounting or Finance area
OR - High School Diploma or Equivalent and 2 or more years of experience in the Accounting or Finance area
OR - Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice, including an Associate Degree and no prior experience in the Accounting or Finance area
AND - Knowledge of accounting or finance principles
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong Microsoft Office experience
- Customer service experience
- Familiarity with SAP
- Basic to intermediate excel skills with pivot table, formulas experience
- Attention to detail
- Insurance experience & Crop Insurance

Additional rewards may encompass short-term incentive bonuses and merit increases. We encourage candidates with salary expectations beyond the provided range to apply as they will be considered based on their experience, skills, and education. The compensation indicated represents a nationwide market range and has not been adjusted for geographic differentials pertaining to the location where the position may be filled. The proposed salary range for this position is $56,100.00 - $91,900.00, with short-term incentive bonus eligibility set at 10%.
