Financial Performance Expert

Finance and Market Execution have a need for a Financial Performance Expert to assist with the evaluation of strategic opportunities and the corresponding financial benefits/impacts to the organization if these opportunities are implemented.
 
This role will be based out of one of the following offices: Anoka, MN, Chicago, IL, Schaumburg, IL 
 
In this role you will:

  • Design, generate and review complex financial models with understanding of Insurance Financial Statements
  • Development of KPIs to provide better insights into the business performance including regional P&Ls and non-commodity price impacted performance measures.
  • Lead interdepartmental teams in complex projects.
  • Redesign complex procedures or processes to address needs within Finance function
  • Evaluate and review business initiatives for the relevant business unit, providing a consistent and thorough approach to the evaluation of opportunities.
  • Act as a key member of the Finance team driving the development and implementation of the Business Unit key initiatives. Assist in the communication of strategic contents to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide robust financial research and analytical solutions along key strategic areas.
     
    Required Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 7 or more years of experience in the Accounting or Finance area
    OR
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent and 9 or more years of experience in the Accounting or Finance area
    OR
  • Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice including an Associate Degree and 7 or more years of experience in the Accounting or Finance area
    AND
  • Leadership experience

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

  • CPA, CPCU, CFA, CTP or MBA
  • Insurance industry experience
  • Project management experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

We encourage candidates with salary expectations beyond the provided range to apply as they will be considered based on their experience, skills, and education. 

The compensation indicated represents a nationwide market range and has not been adjusted for geographic differentials pertaining to the location where the position may be filled. The proposed salary range for this position is $113,100.00 - $185,100.00, with short-term incentive bonus eligibility set at 20%.
