Senior Financial Planning & Market Execution Consultant
RCIS (Rural Community Insurance Service), a division of Zurich North America, is currently hiring a Senior Financial Planning & Market Execution Consultant. We are open to hiring talent in the following locations: Anoka, MN, Schaumburg, IL or Chicago, IL.
Accountabilities:
- Act as a key member of the Finance and Market Execution team driving the development and implementation of the Business Unit key initiatives. Assist in the communication of our progress on the strategic execution to Senior Executives
- Designs, generates and reviews complex financial models with understanding of Insurance Financial Statements
- Leads inter department teams in complex projects
- Executes the implementation of our strategy
- Redesigns complex procedures or processes to address needs
- Evaluate and review business initiatives for the relevant business unit, providing a consistent and thorough approach to the evaluation of opportunities.
- Engaged in defining the value proposition of designated area/business unit, in alignment with local and Group’s strategy.
- Provides robust proprietary research and analytical solutions along key strategic areas.
- Acts as a key informant to the organization for insurance market intelligence views and opinion and offers a constructive voice to strategic activities of the business.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree and 7 or more years of experience in the Accounting or Finance area or Accounting strategy experience
OR
- High School Diploma or Equivalent and 9 or more years of experience in the Accounting or Finance area or Accounting strategy experience
OR
- Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice, including an Associate Degree with 7 or more years of experience in the Accounting or Finance area or Accounting strategy experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- CPA, CPCU, CFA, CTP or MBA
- Insurance industry experience
- Project management experience
- Leadership experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Understanding of insurance company financial statements
- Financial planning and analysis experience
- Problem solving skills
- Understanding of the crop insurance industry
At Zurich, compensation for roles is influenced by a variety of factors, including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. Additional rewards may encompass short-term incentive bonuses and merit increases. We encourage candidates with salary expectations beyond the provided range to apply as they will be considered based on their experience, skills, and education. The compensation indicated represents a nationwide market range and has not been adjusted for geographic differentials pertaining to the location where the position may be filled. The proposed salary range for this position is $85,500.00 - $140,000.00, with short-term incentive bonus eligibility set at 20%.
