As part of this journey, we’re growing our audit team and are looking for talented individuals to assist in the delivery of audits in in the Actuarial technical area. Your role

 

As an Actuarial Audit Manager, you will be accountable for the end-to-end delivery of a portfolio of actuarial-related audit engagements in interaction with teams across Europe, North America, Latin America, and Asia Pacific. With the support of the Senior Manager, you will be responsible for providing insights to stakeholders, leading the audit teams to bring audit outcomes of excellent quality.

You will play a key role in the Actuarial Center of Excellence, and contribute as senior expert into our Group Audit strategy, identifying trends in the market and patterns in the analysis of the results. This opportunity offers an international learning platform where you will share audit experience and knowledge, learn about new audit approaches, and help build your career.

 

 

How you will make an impact

 

Keeping the business safe by leading the execution of a portfolio of actuarial audit engagements end-to-end, including global audits across different regions with the support of the Senior Manager

  • Building learning and apply professional judgement in planning and risk assessment activities, determining the right audit scope, key risks to be addressed and most suitable audit techniques and approaches alongside the Senior Manager, functional and regional Audit Leads
  • Creating a collaborative and supporting team spirit while overseeing the quality of outcomes
  • Guiding, coaching, and supervising the work of the team throughout the audit engagement
  • Influencing the business by agreeing actions and delivering the final audit report, with support from the Senior Manager, when needed
  • Contributing to the Group Audit Actuarial Center of Excellence through sharing technical knowledge and engaging in our continuous learning program

 

 

Your skills and experience

 

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field or professional qualification
  • +6 years of proven experience in Actuarial / Insurance Risk Management / Actuarial Consultant within the Insurance industry or +8 years of experience in Actuarial Function positions
  • Strong knowledge of Actuarial Standards, IFRS 17, Solvency 2 and Data Analytics.
  • Excellent project management skills, ability to organize teams, prioritize tasks, guide, and coach the team to deliver on time to high quality standards
  • Experience in leading teams within complex international organizations with multiple cultures and in a hybrid working environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent relationship management skills with proven ability to interact with stakeholders from all seniority levels and build business relationships
  • Ability to influence teams and senior management executives
  • Collaborative, flexible, persistent, and results-oriented mindset
  • Passion and enthusiasm to continue to grow yourself and others around you
  • Fluent written and spoken English skills. Other European language is a plus

 

 

Additional Information

 

Work location is Spain, Barcelona or Madrid with some travel to other locations, primarily within EMEA, as required.
