Power BI Expert


Our opportunity


You'll work within an Agile delivery team focus on delivering an strategic initiatives for enabling a data model capability for driving a proper analysis and data correlation across the different Application Insights Program workstreams (ie. Application Inventory, Development and Developer metrics and Application Costing).


 Your role


As a Power BI Expert your main responsibilities will involve:


  • Build new Application Insights model using advanced statistical knowledge and ML techniques.
  • Cleaning and organizing project collected data for its analysis.
  • Manipulating and integrating data to highlight patterns, relationships, anomalies, and trends.
  • Managing new data sources, deep analysis, and insights.
  • In time, lead the effort of taking this closer to the realm of automatic assessment, building a suitable ML model that can enhance our Insights with Forecasting capabilities.


Your Skills and Experience


As a Power BI Expert your skills and qualifications will ideally include:

  • Relevant experience or a degree in any of statistics, mathematics, computer science, engineering, economics, or another quantitative subject area.
  • Experience of Agile delivery methodologies ideal.
  • Significant experience in working on cross-border projects and diverse cultural settings.
  • Highly effective planning and prioritization skills.
  • HTTP REST and SOAP APIs knowledge.
  • Microsoft Power BI platform: data wrangling, ETL, analysis, report building, DAX and PowerQuery knowledge, etc... Microsoft Certified a plus.
  • Knowledge of Python, or similar programming languages (R, Matlab, etc.)
  • Proficient in SQL.
  • Familiar with designing cloud architecture (AWS/Azure/CGP).
  • Experience and sensitivity to global working environments and cross-cultural teams with multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong influencing skills and ability to work with stakeholders positively and sensitively.
  • Good English, written and Verbal.
