Business Intelligence Analyst

What are we looking for?

 

As part of the Market Analytics team, the Data Analyst will be responsible to turn data into impactful business insights that will support the decision-making in business areas and functions. You will be fostering positive relationships with business areas, understanding their needs and priorities.

 

Your main responsibilities will be:

 

  • Understand business area’s needs, identifying, gathering, and integrating the necessary data from different data sources into analyses to underpin strategic decisions.
  • Develop, implement, automate reports and dashboards with strategic KPIs.
  • Perform comprehensive analysis to support ad-hoc reporting requests.
  • Leading with planning and performance business processes.
  • Applying technical requirements in business reporting and planning model.
  • Control and monitoring of business unit volumes.
  • Undergo stakeholder meetings and planning decisions making
  • Ensure high data quality information in all reporting and data sources.
  • Influencing key cross-functional business stakeholders by delivering analyses and recommendations.
  • Challenge the status quo and consistently identify areas for improvement, diagnose issues and working to resolve them.
  • Cultivate a broad knowledge of the organization, being able to identify needs and synergies, and promoting a collaborative culture that facilitates evolution of the capacities of using and exploiting the value of the data for the organization.

 

What do we need? 

 

  • Preferred BS/BA Economics, Business Administrator or similar with Business Intelligence training/knowledge.
  • 3+ years of experience in data analytics and business intelligence.
  • Technical Skills with advanced SQL and BI tools (PowerBI, Tableau or similar).
  • Leading with planning and performance business processes.

    Applying technical requirements in business reporting and planning model.

    Control and monitoring of business unit volumes.

    Undergo stakeholder meetings and planning decisions making

  • Deep analytics background and problem-solving skills.
  • Insurance experience and forecast model knowledge are considered a plus.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Presentation skills.
  • Strong drive for excellence, attention to detail.
  • Fluent in Spanish and English.
