In this role of a Business Analyst, you will be part of the global “Reporting and Analytics” team within Group Investment Management. You will collaborate closely with business users in different countries and translate analytical and reporting needs into functional requirements and solutions. You will analyse interrelationships of business processes, complex data and financial systems, define IT specifications and implement reporting front-end solution for our global end user base.

 

 

Your role

 

As a Business Analyst (Reporting & Analytics) your main responsibilities will involve:

 

  • Develop analytical, regulatory, and operational reports and dashboards using business intelligence tools, as well as adapting them according to business needs and changes in regulation
  • Ensure the good quality of the data across our reporting tools with the performance of proper control checks and analysis of the results
  • Analysis of reporting & analytics business requirements and translation into functional and technical solution specifications
  • Lead and support initiatives and projects related to new or existing business intelligence solutions
  • Perform impact analysis of application holding an end-to-end view of the system
  • Continuous improvement of existing reporting processes, services and infrastructure
  • Provide end-user support/training for reporting needs
  • Ensure compliance and governance
  • Collaborate with our main stakeholders (Investment Management, Finance Teams) to identify reporting needs
  • Analyze Investments data and provide insights into the results.

Your role will involve building relationships with:

  • Stakeholders on local, regional and group levels
  • Investment back-office and middle-office teams
  • Market and Master Data teams
  • IT teams

 

 

Your Skills and Experience

 

As Business Analyst (Reporting & Analytics) your education and personal skills will ideally include:

 

Education:

  • Bachelor or Master´s degree in either Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Information Technology and/or quantitative fields such as Statistics and Math with good academic records
  • Understanding of financial products, financial markets as well as the main accounting principles (IFRS, GAAPs)
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
  • CFA/CPA/CMA/ACCA certification is a plus

 

Technical skills:

 

  • 3-4 Years of proven experience with financial data analysis and business analytics, preferably in the financial services or insurance industry
  • Business Analyst skills (e.g., analytical skills, requirement engineering, design thinking, agile methodologies)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Coding skills (preferably SQL, Python, Spark)
  • Familiarity with ERP system SAP BW, FAM/TRM or FICO is a plus
  • Data management (e.g., quality checks, modelling, data warehousing, governance) is a plus
  • Experience with data visualization and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau or QlikView) would be considered an asset

 

Personal skills:

 

  • Ability to work with multi-cultural project teams and facilitating workshops with stakeholders
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Creative thinking and intellectual curiosity
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines with attention to detail.
  • Good self-management skills and stress resilience
