 The Organizational Transformation Specialist engages with Business Units and Group Functions to rethink and reinvent the way we provide services to our customers and stakeholders. This role is responsible to drive continuous improvement through process re-engineering and re-design. The goal is to deliver more effective and efficient services by reducing waste and inefficiencies.

 

The Business Engineering team acts as a Center of Excellence and supports the streamlining of business processes in BUs & Group Functions through simplification and digitalization, driven by a lean culture. The team closely collaborates with other GTO teams such as “Business Change” and “Home of Automation” to leverage on business and technology expertise and to deliver a holistic and effective transformation.

 

Your role

 

As a Organizational Transformation Specialist within GTO, your main responsibilities will involve:

 

  • Designing and implementing changes to processes that improve business outcome and customer experience, eliminate waste and reduce cost
  • Drive continuous improvement along the insurance value chain, from sales and distribution to finance operations, along with underwriting and claims
  • Deliver projects for Business Units and Group Functions in the following disciplines:
  • Process mining
    • Process discovery, incl. process model design and visualisation
    • Conformance checking (to specs, compliance, etc.)
    • Performance analysis (time, cost, quality) and gap identification
  • Process re-engineering
    • Reducing or eliminating duplicate and parallel activities
    • Minimizing labor-intensive tasks and processes and rationalizing manual workloads
    • Improving/maximising the utilization of the existing IT assets and functionalities
    • Operating model and process redesign
    • Implementing improvement programs supported by detailed feasibility analysis, realistic and quantifiable measures and incentives
  • Process re-inventing
    • Greenfield process design in line with new customer journeys to deliver a seamless experience
    • Disruptive operating model and process design enabled by digital capabilities
    • Implementing greenfield programs supported by detailed feasibility analysis, realistic and quantifiable measures and incentives

 

Your Skills and Experience

 

As a Organizational Transformation Specialist  your skills and qualifications will ideally include:

 

  • At least 3 years of experience in business process engineering/operational excellence
  • Demonstrated Six Sigma/Lean experience
  • Sound experience in process mining and re-engineering, incl. automation
  • Knowledge of core insurance processes
  • Strong quantitative capabilities coupled with the ability to generate insights from a variety of data sources
  • Exceptional analytical and interpersonal skills, along with an intense customer focus
  • Highly goal and result oriented
  •  
  • We are looking for someone results driven, influencer, with strong communications skills, as job’s core deliverables rely on supporting, influencing or negotiating with a broad range of internal stakeholders.
