We are looking for a talented intern to join our Data Engineering team. In this internship, you'll get hands-on experience building and maintaining data pipelines, working with advanced big data technologies, and collaborating closely with experienced data engineers on real-world projects.

This is a perfect opportunity for recent graduates or current students aiming to build practical skills in Databricks, Python, and Spark while contributing to meaningful projects within our organization.

Your role

 As our Data Engineering Intern, you will have the chance to:

• Assist the engineering team in developing, testing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines using Databricks, Python, and Spark.
• Support data processing activities, including data cleansing, transformations, integration, and validation tasks.
• Collaborate closely with senior developers and data specialists to gain insight into data engineering best practices.
• Document processes and contribute to routine monitoring tasks such as troubleshooting issues and optimizing performance on data platforms.
• Perform assigned research and proof-of-concept tasks on emerging technologies related to data engineering.

 Your Skills and Experience

We would like to give this opportunity to somebody who is: 

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or related fields.
• Familiarity with at least one programming language, preferably Python.
• Basic understanding or familiarity with Apache Spark and Databricks platforms.
• Knowledge of database concepts and SQL.
• Good communication, problem-solving skills, and eagerness to learn new technologies.

• Active student status with Spanish University/School is mandatory
• University student interested in developing career in tech field
• Looking for at least 6 months part-time/internship program 
• Tech savvy approach
• An enthusiastic, capable, curious person craving to learn
• A good team player with responsible and can-do attitude
• Able to use English for communication with colleagues and managers as from abroad on daily basis.
