Our department provides IT Services to the Group and to Business Units worldwide. We want you to manage key elements of our Customer Success Stories – from Demand to Delivery. Use the O365 Suite and other innovative tools to run and improve processes across the organization.

 

Become an IT Change Manager within Zurich’s Group “Finance, Investments, Treasury & Payments (FIT)” team - that provides IT services to the global Zurich finance customer community- and work with us on innovative technologies and operations, automation projects with a full end-to-end approach. Within this role, you will learn how we operate, and you prepare for your next career step. 

 

Your role

 

As an IT Change Manager you will owe the change management lifecycle within the department and grow into additional customer-focused activities.

 

Your main responsibilities will involve:

 

  • Monitoring the lifecycle of change requests.
  • Agree prioritization of Change Requests with Change Request owners/requestor.
  • Manage change request portfolio
  • Develop processes for standard, normal or emergency changes.
  • Develop methods and tools to automate change control processes to enable continuous improvements.
  • Define and measure success metrics and monitor change progress.
  • Collaborate with different teams to ensure the successful execution of the end-to-end change management cycle.
  • Ensure that information is communicated to impacted audiences.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships.
  • Proactively identify and implement improvements to the change management strategy & methodology. Produce service improvement plans and root cause analysis.
  • Track and follow-up service improvement actions agreed for completion within SLA through e-mails, phone calls and regular checkpoint meetings.
  • Review the effectiveness of change implementation, identify and evaluate opportunities for continuous improvements. 

 

Your Skills and Experience

 

As an IT Change Manager your skills and qualifications will ideally include:

 

  • 5+ years working in similar Change Management roles.
  • Fluent in English. Other languages are a plus.
  • Good understanding of ITIL processes (preferably ITIL Certified) such as Change Management, Incident Management, etc.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with demonstrated ability to quickly gather, analyze and synthesize information.
  • Sound Experience in liaising with key stakeholders (internal customers, internal Service Providers) and building proper work relationships.
  • Experience in key processes of the Change Management lifecycle.
  • Experience in working in global corporates and being able to work in a reliable, independent, and diligent manner.
  • Proficient Knowledge of Standard Microsoft tools and SharePoint/O365.
  • Extroverted and persistent personality with the ability to drive processes within a delivery organization.
  • Ability to communicate with Stakeholders and resolve issues independently.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work in a demanding environment, handling multiple competing priorities and with rapidly changing requirements.
  • Experience with agile software tools such as Jira, Confluence.
