What Can You Expect?
And you might be thinking: This is great, what will my day-to-day be like, at TDC? I’m glad you asked.
As a Project Manager you will have the opportunity to:
- Project Planning and Monitoring:
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate tasks and monitor execution to ensure initiatives meet their objectives and deadlines.
- Project Oversight and Delivery:
- Oversee the end-to-end process of developing and delivering digital products, ensuring they meet market needs and quality standards.
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and on budget.
- Manage project dependencies, risks, and issues.
- Stakeholder Communication:
- Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, ensuring clear communication of objectives, progress, risks, and opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with a large, globally spread network of local business units and group stakeholders.
- Prepare project communications for senior management, including progress reports, escalations, and decision points.
- Risk Management and Compliance:
- Identify and manage risks associated with project activities, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and policies.
- Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to minimize project impact.
- Budget Management:
- Manage and monitor project budgets to ensure efficient use of resources and financial alignment with project goals.
- Prepare business case documentation, including initiative costs, benefits quantification, and ROI analysis.
- Change Management:
- Oversee and manage the portfolio level change management process to ensure smooth transitions and adoption of new products, processes and technologies.
- Develop change management plans and strategies to support project implementation and stakeholder engagement.
- Collaboration and Cross-Functional Integration:
- Ensure effective project governance to streamline decision-making in a complex stakeholder environment.
- Collaborate with the Product Management & Analysis Lead, Solution Architect, and Development Lead to define and implement the target technical delivery landscape.
- Performance Measurement and Reporting:
- Define and track Objectives & Key Results (OKRs) to drive decision-making and continuous improvement.
- Monitor benefits realization and support the Business Sponsor in refining the investment and delivery roadmap accordingly.

As a Program Manager your skills and qualifications will ideally include:
- 5+ years of experience in program or project management roles within the digital or technology sector, preferably within the insurance or financial industries.
- Strong expertise in project management tools, methodologies, and best practices, with relevant certifications valued (eg PMP, Scrum, etc…)
- Proven ability to manage medium-scale, complex projects with multiple workstreams and stakeholders, ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory requirements.
- Strong communication, influencing, and negotiation skills, with the ability to convey complex information to diverse audiences.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence at all levels.
- Experience in preparing quantitative business cases and managing project budgets.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop cross-functional teams to achieve high performance.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with attention to detail.
- Proactive and pragmatic mindset, with the ability to work within ambiguous scenarios and focus on final outcomes.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and digital product management practices.
- Ability to excel in a matrix environment, managing program delivery on a virtual basis.
- Fluent written and spoken English is essential. Additional language(s) is a plus.
- Project Management certificates that are nice to have (eg PMP, Scrum, etc.)
