Innovation Manager - Part time

Considering the third tenet of our strategy Zurich is currently seeking an exceptional Innovation Manager to identify, prove and scale innovations across the group delivering game changing outcomes for our customers, stakeholders and the planet! 



 Your role 


  As an Innovation Manager your main responsibilities will involve: 


 Identifying disruptive technologies which will impact the Insurance Industry 


  • Scouting startups which can enable these technologies in Zurich 
  • Scouting internal innovations already established in the Zurich Insurance Group 
  • Managing the scaling and adoption of successful external and internal innovations 
  • Managing an internal innovation network to share knowledge and best practice across the group 
  • Acting as a product owner for selected themes to prove and scale innovations 



Your Skills and Experience  


As an Innovation manager your skills and qualifications will ideally include: 


  • A thirst for knowledge and curiosity about how insurance can be better 
  • Understanding and experience of disruptive technology 
  • A track record working with start ups to deliver outcomes beyond just proofs of technology 
  • Experience navigating complex organisations and building networks 
  • 5+ years’ experience at either a start up or a larger organization- Ideally both. 
  • A track record of executing despite ambiguity 
  • Experience of insurance is an advantage but not a must 
  • Experience with agile methodologies as a Product Owner or Scrum Master
