Junior Automation and Monitoring Specialist
Our opportunity:
We are seeking as a Junior Automation and Monitoring Specialist to join our Data & Business Intelligence organization within Group Operations Business Transformation.
In this role, you will support the automation of various business processes and monitor system performance to improve efficiency and productivity. You will work closely with senior team members to design, develop, implement, and maintain automation solutions using the latest technologies such as Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate, UiPath, and Splunk. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for technology and a desire to grow their skills in automation, RPA, and monitoring.
Your role
As a Junior Automation and Monitoring Specialist your main responsibilities will involve:
- Collaborate with senior automation specialists to understand project requirements and objectives.
- Assist in the design, development, and implementation of automation solutions using Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate, and UiPath.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools.
- Monitor system performance and health using Splunk.
- Conduct testing and debugging of automation solutions to ensure functionality and reliability.
- Document automation processes, including creating user manuals and training materials.
- Monitor and maintain existing automation systems, addressing any issues that arise.
- Stay updated with the latest automation, RPA, and monitoring trends and technologies.
- Provide support and training to end-users on automated systems.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for process improvements.
Your Skills and Experience
As a Junior Automation and Monitoring Specialist your main responsibilities will involve:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Over 1-2 years of experience.
- Basic understanding of automation tools and technologies (e.g., Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate, UiPath, RPA, Python, Selenium).
- Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Splunk.
- Knowledge of database management and SQL (Queries).
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.
- Experience with process automation tools (e.g., Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism) is a plus.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Basic understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
- Fluent in English (spoken and written). Further languages preferred
