What Can You Expect?
We are looking for an Organizational Transformation Specialist who can move easily between identifying business needs, shaping practical solutions, and leading smaller initiatives from idea through to delivery. This role is designed for someone who is comfortable working across discovery, experimentation, implementation, and continuous improvement.
The role combines elements of organizational transformation, business analysis, and project delivery. It also includes a hands-on focus on internal process improvement and limited operational support, with the ability to use AI-enabled tools such as Claude Code and Microsoft Copilot to build or maintain lightweight solutions within the Microsoft 365 environment.
And you might be thinking: This is great, what will my day-to-day be like, at TDC? I’m glad you asked.
As an Organizational Transformation Specialist, you will help improve how we work by understanding needs, testing ideas, and delivering practical solutions that support colleagues, customers, and business priorities. You will work closely with stakeholders to define problems clearly, evaluate options, and turn opportunities into manageable initiatives with measurable outcomes. You will be expected to switch confidently between structured analysis, rapid experimentation, and delivery coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and clarify business needs through stakeholder engagement, observation, workshops, and lightweight discovery activities.
- Translate ambiguous problems into clear requirements, opportunity statements, process definitions, and success measures.
- Support the design, testing, and refinement of products, process changes, and solution concepts through structured experimentation and iteration.
- Lead smaller projects or workstreams from inception through delivery, including planning, coordination, tracking, risk management, and handover.
- Drive internal process improvement initiatives to simplify ways of working, reduce friction, and improve effectiveness.
- Use tools such as Claude Code and Microsoft Copilot to support limited solution development, automation, maintenance, and documentation within the Microsoft 365 environment.
- Contribute to the build and upkeep of lightweight tools or automations across applications such as Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, Power Automate, and Power Apps, where appropriate.
- Define and monitor KPIs, adoption indicators, and outcome measures to assess whether solutions are delivering the intended value.
- Support change adoption through clear communication, practical guidance, training, and stakeholder engagement.
- Work within Zurich standards and collaborate with relevant teams to ensure appropriate governance, security, privacy, and compliance considerations are addressed.
- Work alongside experts in various technological domains.
- Enhance your skills with real-world experience.
- Contribute to a team that values your input and creativity.
What Makes You a great Fit?
While we’re not seeking perfection or expecting you to save the world, we believe that if you meet some of these requirements, you’ll be a fantastic fit for our team. We are waiting for you!
What Success Looks Like
- Business needs are understood early and translated into clear, actionable requirements or improvement opportunities.
- Ideas are tested quickly and pragmatically, helping teams learn faster and invest in the right solutions.
- Smaller initiatives are delivered with discipline, transparency, and a clear focus on outcomes.
- Internal processes become simpler, more efficient, and easier for colleagues to use.
- AI and Microsoft 365 capabilities are used responsibly to create practical value rather than unnecessary complexity.
- Stakeholders feel supported, informed, and engaged throughout the change journey.
- Benefits, adoption, and performance are measured so improvements can be sustained over time.
Skills and Experience
- Experience in a role that combines business analysis, transformation support, process improvement, project coordination, or delivery management.
- Ability to move comfortably between discovery, analysis, experimentation, implementation, and follow-through.
- Strong stakeholder management, facilitation, and communication skills, with the ability to work across different functions and levels of the organization.
- Practical experience defining requirements, documenting processes, and supporting solution design.
- Confidence leading smaller projects or workstreams, including scope, timeline, dependencies, and risk tracking.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 tools, including collaboration, documentation, workflow, and productivity applications.
- Hands-on interest in or experience with AI-assisted tools such as Claude Code and Microsoft Copilot for lightweight development, automation, or content support.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to use data, KPIs, and evidence to inform decisions and evaluate outcomes.
- A practical, improvement-oriented approach with strong attention to usability, adoption, and business value.
- Experience in insurance, financial services, or a regulated environment is helpful but not essential.
And… What Makes Us Special?
As well as a competitive salary and a yearly bonus, we offer:
- To support your work-life balance, we have adopted a flexible working model.
