Product Management Capability Lead

This is the role for you!  We are in the early stages of developing a Product oriented organization and we need to you to help drive the development of the capability and organization! 

You will drive the development of Product Management skills, knowledge and methodologies in Group Technology and Operations and engage with local leaders to support the development of this key capability locally.  You will lead by example, developing and evangelizing the mindset, skills and tools. 

 

Your role

 

 

As a Product Management Capability Lead your main responsibilities will involve

  • Drive the productization of Group Technology & Operations service and product portfolio using your ability to influence and inspire  
  • Be a Product Management thought leader representing GTO across the Group contributing to the development of Product Management global capabilities  
  • Clearly articulate the value of Product Management across all parts of the business 
  • Engage Business Leaders to help embed Product Mindset and support transition to product-oriented teams and organizations 
  • Clearly articulate, and role model, the behaviors and mindset of a successful Product Manager 
  • Define and implement a capability development journey including continuing education for experienced Product Managers and ongoing accreditation as a Product. 
  • Facilitate learning and development through individual & team coaching, trainings, and workshops on Product Management 

 

Your Skills and Experience

 

As a Product Management Capability Lead your skills and qualifications will ideally include:

  • 5+ years of Product Management experience with increasing responsibility, preferably within large, complex organizations 
  • Experience across the entire product lifecycle, including but not limited to opportunity exploration / identification, product strategy, marketing, pricing, product development and product sunsetting 
  • Deep knowledge of Product Management tools, methods and concepts 
  • A strong communicator across all levels of the organization and in all settings (1:1 meetings, workshops, Town Halls, etc...) 
  • Proactive attitude, great attention to detail 
  • Hypothesis driven 
  • Able think laterally, analytically and quickly 
  • ‘Here to help’ attitude, who absolutely, fundamentally believes that we’re better together 
  • Passionate about Product Management 
  • Passionate about trying new things rather than focusing on specific methodology and inspiring others to do the same 
  • Good knowledge of Lean and Agile mindsets, methods and tools 
  • Fluent in English; other languages are a bonus!
