What Can You Expect?

 

And you might be thinking: This is great, what will my day-to-day be like, at TDC? I’m glad you asked. 

 

As a Senior Project Manager you will have the opportunity to:

 

  • Collaborate and lead an exciting project to migrate an existing application to a new technology, as well as manage the day-to-day BAU tasks for the current application in production.
  • Develop and deploy innovative tech solutions, specifically defining and implementing a new technology to enhance the end-to-end journey for Marine Cargo Fast Flow business
  • Work alongside experts in various technological domains and business stakeholders to implement the best solution which meets specific business requirements and Zurich architectural standards.
  • Enhance your skills by working closely with several teams, both technical and business to bring the re-platforming project to realisation.
  • Contribute to a team that values your input and creativity and bring a fresh view to the application and possible options.

 

Also, you will be responsible of:

 

  • Lead the re-platforming project as well as the existing day-to-day tasks for the application currently in production
  • Develop a migration strategy for the application and the country’s that use it
  • Closely collaborate with CI IT and business teams to ensure the correct technology is implemented, considering the Zurich architectural standards and business requirements
  • Build close relationships with local business and IT stakeholders, establish productive collaborations
  • Communicate the results of your work to senior stakeholders; seek buy-in and approval
  • Take full ownership for your deliverables to arrive on time and within budget; resolve or escalate any issues
  • Develop and implement operational excellence and project management basics such as scope, plans, risks and issues and dependencies logs, etc.
  • Monitor workloads and address issues proactively
  • Oversee testing activities to ensure quality standards are met
  • Implement and maintain business performance reporting in cooperation with business stakeholders

 

 

What Makes You a great Fit?

  • 5+ years of experience in program or project management roles, preferably within the insurance or financial industries. 
  • Strong expertise in project management tools, methodologies, and best practices, with relevant certifications valued (eg PMP, Scrum, etc…) 
  • Proven ability to manage medium-scale, complex projects with multiple workstreams and stakeholders, ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory requirements. 
  • Experience in Reporting and Automation Tools as: Power BI, Power Automate, Jira, Azure DevOps, and other tools that support the management and communication skills.
  • Strong communication, influencing, and negotiation skills, with the ability to convey complex information to diverse audiences. 
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence at all levels. 
  • Experience in preparing quantitative business cases and managing project budgets. 
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop cross-functional teams to achieve high performance. 
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with attention to detail. 
  • Proactive and pragmatic mindset, with the ability to work within ambiguous scenarios and focus on final outcomes. 
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and digital product management practices. 
  • Ability to excel in a matrix environment, managing program delivery on a virtual basis. 
  • Fluent written and spoken English is essential. Additional language(s) is a plus. 
  • Project Management certificates that are nice to have (eg PMP, Scrum, etc.)
