What Can You Expect

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our AI Engineering and Platforms team within the Group Technology Office (GTO). The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience leading data and analytics projects, with a strong emphasis on cloud technologies. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills to drive our data initiatives and ensure successful project delivery.

As a Project Manager you will have the opportunity to:

1. Project Leadership:

• Lead and manage end-to-end data and analytics projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives.
• Oversee project planning, execution, and delivery, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and status reports.

2. Stakeholder Management:

• Engage with key stakeholders to gather requirements, define project scope, and ensure alignment with business needs.
• Communicate project progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders, providing regular updates and status reports.
• Facilitate meetings and workshops with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

3. Technical Expertise:

• Utilize expertise in cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) to architect and implement data solutions.
• Oversee the integration of data sources and the development of data pipelines, data warehouses, and analytics platforms.
• Ensure data quality, governance, and security standards are maintained.

4. Team Management:

• Lead and mentor project team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
• Coordinate with internal and external resources, including vendors and consultants, to ensure project success.
• Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to team members.

5. Continuous Improvement:

• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in project management and data analytics.
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in data and analytics.

• Work alongside experts in various technological domains.
• Enhance your skills with real-world experience
• Contribute to a team that values your input and creativity.

What Makes You a great Fit?

While we’re not seeking perfection or expecting you to save the world, we believe that if you meet some of these requirements, you’ll be a fantastic fit for our team. We are waiting for you!

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Over 5 years of experience managing data and analytics projects, with a strong focus on cloud technologies.
• Proven experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing, ETL processes, data integration, and business intelligence tools.
• Exceptional project management skills, with a track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification is a plus.
• Experience in the insurance or financial services industry is an advantage.
