The opportunity

 

Group Audit is responsible for performing audits over the whole of Zurich's operations globally. We are looking for a Resource Deployment and Scheduling Analyst to join our team in Spain and be part of our global Internal Audit organization. You will contribute to the Group Audit global team in terms of professional skills, technical knowledge, energy and motivation.

As part of the Group Audit Operations Team, you will play a key role in making sure audit and corresponding individuals are appropriately scheduled. Your role has responsibility to support incoming resource requests relating to audit engagements, while supporting the group to make its processes simpler. You will have the opportunity to interact with the local country audit leaders and team members across the globe, including Corporate Centre, Europe, Latin America, Asia Pacific and North America.

Your Role

 

Main responsibilities will include:

 

  • Support the Resource Deployment and Scheduling Manager with the planning and assignment of resources to audit projects. You will analyze and process incoming resource requests from multiple sources (country managers and portfolio managers) with a mix of new and recurring work (Weekly, Monthly, ad-hoc reports etc.) for key stakeholders across Group Audit (GA) function
  • Validating efficiency and key performance indicators for all GA regions (EMEA, APAC, Americas)
  • Preparation of clearly articulated presentations explaining the impact, implications and conclusions regarding audit delivery while analyzing trends where appropriate
  • Developing relationships with key stakeholders within Group Audit and external co-source partners
  • Initiating actions to improve the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the resource deployment and scheduling process & related tools, while keeping updated process documentation

 

 

Your Skills and Experience

 

As a Resource Deployment and Scheduling Analyst your skills and qualifications will include:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent)
  • +1 years of experience in a similar role preferred.
  • High level of spoken and written English. Additional languages is advantageous
  • Ability to remotely work in a fast-paced, international team.
  • Eager to learn, proactive and passionate about new technologies and innovation.
  • Knowledge of internal audit processes and insurance industry experience is a plus
  • Exhibits high professional and ethical behavior
  • Experience of working in multinational and complex organizations is advantageous.
  • Good organization, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good level of Excel
  • Ability to work customer-focused, collaborative, flexible, persistent and results-oriented.
  • Flexibility and endurance to cope with varying workloads, pressures and priorities.

Work location is Spain, Barcelona or Madrid.
