Senior Cloud Engineer

Our opportunity 

We are seeking a talented Cloud Platform Engineer to join our team and play a crucial role in addressing the specific needs of genAI in the insurance industry. You will be responsible for developing and configuring cloud platforms and instrumental in integrating new capabilities, enabling the accelerated development of innovative products and services. 

Your role 

As a Senior Cloud/platform Engineer, your main responsibilities will include:

• Design and implement self-service platform that enables developers with seamless and automated mapping, scaling, securing and deployment of their solutions to cloud environments.
• Optimize and enhance cloud infrastructure to enable faster build processes for products and services.
• Develop automated workflows and interfaces that Integrate Infrastructure as Code practices into  (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Implement monitoring and logging solutions to provide observability, insights and automated problem resolution of services in the cloud (Dynatrace services – Data Observability, AI/ML Observability, Distributed traces, Automation).
• Collaborate with DevOps, architects and stakeholders
• Participate in testing, troubleshooting, and debugging activities to ensure the reliability and performance of the cloud platforms.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest technology advancements in the field of generative AI.

Your Skills and Experience

As a Cloud/platform Engineer, your skills and experience will ideally include:

• 4+ years of proven experience in cloud platforms: AWS and Azure  (having worked with more than one platform, and proficiency in at least one)
• Prior experience in building solutions for Infrastructure as Code (IaaC) using Terraform
• Strong scripting and automation background
• Experience with Dynatrace – not just logs , metrics and resource monitoring, but also observability, tracing, automation services suite.
• Networking and security in cloud environments.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to address specific genAI needs effectively.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
