We are currently hiring an Senior Project Manager and this person will report to the Head of IT for Property and Sustainability. This person will work out of our Barcelona offices.

 

 

Your role

 

The Senior Project Manager will manage technology projects ensuring successful completion of Global programs. The Senior IT Project Manager will work on IT setups and/or security projects aligning and managing resources from Engineering, Operations, and Architecture teams to deliver the projects.  In addition, he/she will manage deliverables and timelines, financial and budgetary standpoint, manage documentation, manage stakeholders, and have a strong understanding of technology.

 

 

Your Skills and Experience

 

Basic Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 1 or more years of experience in the Project Management area
  • Experience in strategic and operational consulting or business systems integration
  • Experience in diverse, multi-cultural environments, and dealing with ambiguity and changing/evolving requirements
  • Good communication skills, ability to communicate with both business and technical stakeholders
  • Fluent written and spoken English.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

  • Project Management Professional Certification: PMP, ITIL…
  • In-depth, strong problem-solving analytical skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Insurance Industry Experience
  • SharePoint administration experience, project documentation, version control
  • Understanding of IT technical, IT software development lifecycle
  • Understanding of IT processes and direction
  • Good vendor management skills, managing external resources and vendors
  • Managing vendors and their deliverables, developing KPI, and milestones and report on progress
  • Experience keeping track of project financials and financial reporting and tracking

Primary work location is Barcelona, Poblenou. Working from another location in Spain is also feasible.
Occasional travel may be required.
