What Can You Expect?

And you might be thinking: This is great, what will my day-to-day be like, at TDC? I’m glad you asked. 

You will play a crucial role in implementing SAP solutions and participating in SAP rollouts and transformation projects. You will also be responsible for supporting existing SAP FI/CO installations globally.

As a Senior SAP ABAP Developer you will have the opportunity to:

• Analysing underlying business needs based on functional specifications and implementing requirements according to internal development conventions and guidelines.
• Proposing and evaluating solution alternatives.
• Detecting and resolving problems and root causes.
• Solving incidents and issues.
• Participating in SAP implementation projects and supporting global transformation projects.
• Ensuring that development quality gates and design principles are met.
• Collaborating with a third-party development team in an international environment.
• Work alongside experts in various technological domains.
• Enhance your skills with real-world experience
• Contribute to a team that values your input and creativity.

What Makes You a great Fit?

While we’re not seeking perfection or expecting you to save the world, we believe that if you meet some of these requirements, you’ll be a fantastic fit for our team. We are waiting for you!

• A university degree in computer science or a related field.
• Over 6 years of experience in building solutions using SAP ABAP workbench and development tools.
• A proven track record in analysing and delivering complex developments, ideally in an SAP FI/CO environment and other financial applications.
• Strong design skills with the ability to create solutions from complex requirements.
• Good unit and integration testing skills.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical solutions to a non-technical audience.
• The ability to understand functional interface and program requirements and develop standardized solutions.
• Excellent technical knowledge of SAP components and the development toolset, including SAP Business Add-Ins (BAdI), BAPI, User Exits, and Enhancement Framework.
• Experience with SAP Interface technologies, including ALE, IDOC, RFC, Web Services, and OData.
• A deep understanding of system development delivery models, process architectures, and governance.
• Strong SAP ABAP OO knowledge.
• Experience with modern ABAP (version 7.4 and above).
• Experience working with HANA database and in-memory artifacts (e.g., CDS, AMDP).
• Experience working with S4HANA.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Knowledge of JIRA and Microsoft Office products.

Nice to Have

• Good functional knowledge of SAP FI/CO modules.
• Advanced CDS modelling and Fiori UI annotations, SAPUI5 frontend development.
• Experience with SAP BTP.
• Familiarity with WEB IDE / SAP BAS and Eclipse ADT tools.
• Knowledge of any other programming language.
• Proficiency in Spanish or German.
