Senior .NET Developer

Our opportunity

 

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Senior .NET Developer to join our international Business Technology Solutions organization.

In this role, you will be responsible for building new and enhancing existing applications with .NET development tools, making sure they run in a robust and performant manner. Solutions will be developed for both local and global customers, working with both cloud and on-premise solutions.

 

You will proactively expand your expertise in both existing and new functionalities, along with best practices in the .NET space, applying these learnings in your daily job.

 

Your role

 

As a Senior .NET Developer your main responsibilities will involve

 

  • Working with colleagues and business stakeholders, using agile methodologies to develop data-driven business solutions.
  • Developing .NET solutions, working with both small local and large-scale global solutions, using Cloud-based application development with Azure and ASP.NET Core in C#
  • Collaborating with a solution designer and platform manager, contributing robust and high-performance deliveries.
  • Applying constant learning, supporting both innovative and high-quality solutions.
  • Writing technical documentation, ensuring maintainability of developed solutions.
  • Contributing technical expertise, supporting analysis, estimation, and design processes, as well as improving existing applications.

 

Your Skills and Experience

 

As a .NET developer, your skills and qualifications will ideally include:

 

  • University level education or equivalent.
  • +5-10 years’ Experience creating solutions with .NET tools, .NET Core 6 and ASP.NET
  • Knowledge of other BI tools such as DAX, Azure Data Factory and R/ Python is an advantage
  • Team collaboration skills
  • Having experience in insurance and especially in the actuarial domain is highly desirable
  • Analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Familiarity with analytics (modeling, prediction, segmentation) preferred
  • Excellent English and communication skills.
