  • This is a great opportunity to join the Operational Finance Team of Group Technology & Operations where you will work in a Global Team engaging with colleagues all around the Zurich Group
  • Group Technology & Operations has embarked on the journey to commercialize their Products & Services and you will be in the center of it providing related insights and transparency to Product/Service Owners and Internal Customers
  • As part of this journey, you have the opportunity to utilize a state-of-the-art BI Platform (Qlik Sense) and operate/evolve a Dashboard that is used by a global user base
  • You will have the possibility to identify and implement use cases to further automate data flows and/or improve data management processes
  • You will work in a dynamic and highly motivated team with experienced professionals that will give you further opportunity to learn and grow

 

 

Your role

 

As a Business Analyst - Service Cost Transparency Lead your main responsibilities will involve

 

 

  • Managing the service components and the operation of the Service Cost Transparency platform to ensure great user experience, efficient processes and up to date functionality
  • Maintaining master data for costs and cost allocations to services and customers by liaising with data providers, service owners and Finance Business Partners
  • Delivering regular data updates to the Service Cost Transparency platform to reflect latest financial information including Actual, Plan and Forecasts
  • Delivering changes to the Service Cost Transparency Platform in a sprint-based approach and maintaining the Qlik Sense Platform incl. related Online Dashboard
  • Supporting users and service owners in the utilization of the Service Cost Transparency Platform
  • Support other Operational Finance initiatives related to Commercialization, Data Management and Automation

 

 

Your Skills and Experience

 

As a Business Analyst - Service Cost Transparency Lead your skills and qualifications will ideally include:

 

 

  • A university degree, preferably in an analytical field (Math, Statistics, Physics, Finance, or IT)
  • Relevant work experience of 3-5 years related to BI Platforms and Data Analysis
  • Good understanding of Finance Cost Management is preferred
  • Experience to work with large and complex data sets as basis for analytics
  • Experience with data query tools to perform data analysis and validation incl. SQL
  • Advanced Experience using Excel including ability to handle complex formulas and pivot tables
  • Experience in building/maintaining BI Platform (Qlik Sense preferred)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong verbal communication skills and “can do” attitude
  • Team Player that is experienced with collaborating across many teams

Primary work location is Barcelona, Spain. Option to telework from any location within Spain territory is also feasible.
