The Transformation Lead at Zurich is a pivotal role, responsible for driving strategic insourcing initiatives that focus on integrating technology talent and capabilities. This seasoned leader, expected to have substantial experience in overseeing large-scale programs, also brings an in-depth understanding of technology to the table. Ideally, they have led large teams within this domain, demonstrating their ability to manage complex technical projects and guide teams towards achieving strategic goals. Most importantly, the ideal candidate is ready to step into a high-impact, single-contributor role, equipped to drive significant organizational change and efficiency. In this capacity, the Transformation Lead will be instrumental in shaping the future of Zurich's technology landscape, leveraging their extensive experience to initiate and direct transformative projects that align with the company's vision and objectives.

 

Your role

 

As a Transformation Lead your main responsibilities will involve:

  • Work closely with the Technology and in-Country organizations to establish and implement a range of workforce-related activities, ensuring alignment with Zurich's strategic goals.
  • Oversee workforce optimization projects from initiation through delivery, managing aspects such as planning, execution, and integration.
  • Coordinate insourcing and capability delivery efforts across various regions and countries, ensuring cohesive and unified execution through and beyond delivery centers.
  • As a part of capability delivery initiatives, drive end-to-end process re-engineering where needed.
  • Engage with different departments to facilitate seamless integration and execution of insourcing strategy.
  • Develop strong relationships with internal and external partners to drive successful outcomes.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, implementing cost-effective strategies throughout right-sourcing processes.
  • Stay informed about the latest trends in insourcing and technology integration, leveraging insights for continuous improvement.

 

 

Your Skills and Experience

 

As a Transformation Lead your skills and qualifications will ideally include:

  • Proven track record in managing large scale technology projects
  • Experience in leading major turnaround initiatives within technology domain
  • Experience in leading or being the deputy head of delivery centers is crucial, as well as extensive experience in leading technology teams to foster innovation and operational excellence. 
  • Strong understanding of workforce strategy implementation and comprehensive experience in process re-engineering are essential.
  • Ability to execute complex workforce transformation programs with clear KPIs
  • Knowledge in the acquisition and integration of external capabilities.
  • Being prepared to be a high-impact individual contributor within the organization is a key expectation for this role.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas to diverse stakeholders in English.
