Location: Birmingham (2 days office/3 days home - Hybrid)

Engineering is helping our customers to identify, manage and control engineering business risks for over 80 years. Engineering has a national team of approximately 600 highly trained and experienced Engineer Surveyors that help our customers comply with a wide range of legislation through independent in-service examinations of plant and machinery.


Our Opportunity


We are currently looking for a talented individual to support the Business Systems Team Manager in providing expert application knowledge and guidance across the suite of Engineering Inspection internal applications.  The individual will be required to support and coach a small team of Business Systems Support Analysts and where require Engineering Inspection specific projects.


Key Accountabilities

  • Provide effective first line support for Engineering Inspection applications for internal and external customers.
  • Identify any application issues, determine the corrective actions, and implement the required actions to a satisfactory conclusion.
  • Provide effective Engineering Inspection application training to internal and external customers.
  • Liaise with 3rd party suppliers.
  • Continuous improvement.
  • Support Engineering Inspection specific projects.
  • Identify, document and test application requirements / solutions.


Education and Experience

  • Proven experience in similar role
  • Expert Engineering Inspection application knowledge - desirable
  • Extensive experience of working in a customer facing environment
  • Experience in the delivery and coordination of business application training.
  • Experience of the IT Project life cycle.
