AI Trainee in Pricing & Analytics Team

Our opportunity

AI Trainee

You will work closely with underwriters, data engineers and BI teams to turn ideas into working AI applications, primarily using modern Python based AI and analytics tooling. As a AI Trainee in Zurich’s Pricing & Analytics team, you will help build AI solutions that make underwriting and credit processes faster and smarter.

Your role
As an AI Trainee, your main responsibilities will involve: 

• Help design and implement AI solutions that support underwriting and credit decisions
• Develop simple prototypes (POCs) in Python and improve them based on feedback
• Use large language models (LLMs) and other AI tools to build practical solutions (e.g. summarizing documents, assisting underwriting workflows).
• Clean and transform data (e.g. using pandas, SQL) for AI workflows.
• Help check data quality and consistency.
• Assist in testing AI outputs and monitoring solutions in production.

Your Skills and Experience

As an AI Trainee, your skills and experience will ideally include:

• Slovak university student, preferably in 2nd year of study in Computer Science, Informatics, Software Engineering, Data Science, AI, Applied Mathematics, or other related field
• Strong analytical problem solver with critical thinking skills
• Curious and willing to learn new technologies 
• Familiar with at least one programming language (Python preferred) 
• Fluent English
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to develop both technical and interpersonal skills 

Additional information 

• Location(s): Bratislava 
• Schedule: part-time  
• Wage: 8 EUR/hour gross
