Azure Data Analyst #LI-Hybrid
Lead and support data-centric IT product delivery (REDS), focusing on cloud-based (Databricks/Azure) solutions and legacy .NET/SQL platform transition. Ensure alignment with regulatory, operational, and data governance standards.
Your role
As an Azure Data Analyst, your main responsibilities will include:
- Capture and analyze user requirements from legacy .NET/SQL platforms; translate into user stories and migration plans.
- Design and document scalable data pipelines for cloud platforms (Databricks, Azure).
- Analyze, transform, and integrate complex data sources for business and regulatory needs.
- Document data flows, business logic, and integration points for migration and knowledge transfer.
- Ensure data quality, lineage, and governance; set standards for accuracy and completeness.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (risk modelers, data architects, developers).
- Facilitate agile ceremonies and support UAT/release planning.
- Act as a liaison between business and technical stakeholders, driving platform consistency.
Your Skills and Experience
As a Azure Data Analyst,,your skills and experience will ideally include:
- Expert-level T-SQL for querying and performance tuning.
- Strong experience in data modeling (conceptual, logical, physical) and data transformation.
- Experience with data pipelines/ETL tools (Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Kafka, etc.).
- Proven ability to design and support data flows in cloud environments.
- Ability to analyze legacy systems, run workshops, and drive migration.
- Solid stakeholder management in a matrixed environment.
- Track record with agile delivery (Scrum/Kanban).
- Fluency in English; additional languages (e.g., Spanish) advantageous.
- Experience coordinating UAT, releases, and performance/security validation.
Nice-to-Have:
- Hands-on with Databricks, Apache Spark, Delta Lake.
- Understanding of regulatory reporting and risk frameworks.
- Familiarity with insurance data, risk modeling, or exposure data is a plus.
- Knowledge of Basel risk metrics, credit/risk exposure, or actuarial data.
We offer
In accordance with the EU Pay Transparency Directive, the minimum gross monthly compensation for this position, determined based on objective and gender-neutral criteria, is 3 800 EUR/gross. The final compensation package will depend on the candidate’s qualifications and relevant experience.
