As a Claims Analyst you will become a part of our Zurich Group Claims family reporting directly to the Head of Data Systems, where we work closely together to solve problems facing our business. Your role
As a Claims Data Analyst, your main responsibilities will involve:
- Develop and design ETL solutions that would support the data visualization applications;
- Conduct analytical investigations aiming to extract valuable information from claims data and answer business questions;
- Own projects as the main developer with the possibility to influence how the final product will look;
- Collaborate with other disciplines (e.g Underwriting, Actuarial…) in order to provide claims insights on changes in the business portfolio;
- Deliver accurate, relevant, and informative/actionable insights to senior level management across various business units answering the "why?" related to claims trends;
- Find innovative solutions to data issues preventing us from conducting necessary analysis, and explore ways to leverage the use of our data for the betterment of the Group Claims function
- Identify and implement improvements and automation opportunities (data, KPI's, dashboards, process)
- Translate ideas into practical solutions.
Your Skills and Experience
As a Claims Data Analyst, your skills and experience will ideally include:
- At least 4+ years of experience in a technical data role;
- University degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, Econometrics, Engineering, Computer Science, Decision Science, Business Management, or other quantitative sciences;
- Hands to keyboard ability to deliver data and analytical projects;
- Proficiency in SQL and Python/R are a must;
- Experience in Power BI;
- Good written and spoken English; additional language is a plus.

We offer
In accordance with the EU Pay Transparency Directive, the minimum gross monthly compensation for this position, determined based on objective and gender-neutral criteria, is 2 250 EUR/gross The final compensation package will depend on the candidate’s qualifications and relevant experience.
