Credit Analyst
WKV & WKV Banking / Long Term Underwriting
As a Credit Analys, you will play a key role in assessing and managing credit risks for the German market within an international environment.
Your role
As a Credit Analyst, your main responsibilities will involve:
- You assess the creditworthiness of transaction, counterparty, and group risks at both national and international level
- Within your authority, you make independent, risk-based credit decisions and prepare cases for higher-level approvals
- You monitor existing exposures and actively contribute to risk mitigation strategies
- You act as a interface between Bratislava and Germany, working closely with the German Credit Analysis teams
- You lead and participate in risk discussions with brokers, policyholders, and internal stakeholders
- You ensure compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements
- You clearly communicate and defend your credit decisions in a professional stakeholder environment
- You contribute to process optimization initiatives and support international projects
Your Skills and Experience
As a Credit Analyst, your skills and experience will ideally include:
- Degree in business, finance, or a related field (ideally with a focus on corporate lending), or a comparable commercial qualification
- Strong professional experience in credit assessment, trade credit insurance, or surety business
- Solid expertise in financial statement analysis, credit assessment, and risk classification
- Good understanding of industry and market dynamics
- Confident handling of MS Office and credit-related systems
- Very good German and English skills

We offer
Compensation for roles at Zurich depends on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific role, skill set, level of experience, and subject to applicable law. Zurich thus provides a range of compensation aligned to internal job architecture and market benchmarks to ensure fair and consistent pay for comparable roles.
The starting base salary range for this position is 2300 EUR / Gross.
