Data & BI Solutions Delivery Specialist (Qlik Sense)​

We are looking for an experienced specialist to join the Commercial Insurance IT area delivering Business Technology Solutions, who will be responsible for implementation of business requirements into our Qlik Sense reporting solution used to deliver data and insights through dashboards to variety of stakeholders in Sales & Distribution, Actuarial and Underwriting functions. Your main contribution will be in an area of migration and re-factoring of existing suite of Qlik Sense dashboards and ETL pipelines to a Qlik Cloud SaaS offering.

This job opportunity is a substitute during maternity leave, which is planned for a year and a half, but the specified period can be extended.

Your role

As a Data & BI Solutions Delivery Specialist your main responsibilities will involve:

• Developing and maintaining Qlik Sense data pipelines (ETL) and Qlik Cloud applications (dashboards)
• Contribution and collaboration in the definition of the business requirements and business specifications​
• Evaluation of options and translating business requirements into technical specifications
• Proactively enhancing existing visualizations and existing data-transformation layers
• Coordination and working with external service providers to implement required changes / new requests​

Your Skills and Experience

As a Data & BI Solutions Delivery Specialist your skills and qualifications will ideally include:

• Higher education in economics, mathematics or computer science​
• At least 3 years of experience in developing reports and scripting in Qlik Sense​
• Knowledge in database and data modelling concepts​
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure data management components (Azure Storage, Azure Data Factory)​
• Familiarity with SQL scripting or similar database languages​
• Experience in agile methodologies and working in distributed international teams​
• Personality to be client oriented, team player, flexible, strong communicator​
• English: fluent in writing and verbal communication​
