Your role

As a Development Team Lead your main responsibilities will involve: 

• Lead and mentor a team of developers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
• Oversee the design, development, and deployment of cutting-edge applications, ensuring adherence to best practices and industry standards.
• Utilize your expertise in React, .NET, MS SQL, Azure DevOps, and Rest APIs to drive the development of robust and scalable solutions.
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to streamline the development and deployment process.
• Ensure the implementation of test automation and unit testing to maintain high-quality code and reduce defects.
• Collaborate with international and distributed teams, coordinating efforts and ensuring effective communication across different time zones.
• Provide technical guidance and support to team members, helping them resolve complex issues and improve their skills.
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Continuously evaluate and adopt new technologies and tools to enhance the development process and improve efficiency.
• Manage and apply security patches to ensure the safety and integrity of applications and systems.

Your Skills and Experience

As a Development Team Lead your skills and experience will ideally include: 

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar role, leading development teams and managing projects.
• Strong knowledge of modern application design principles and practices.
• Proficiency in React, .NET, SQL, Azure DevOps, and Rest APIs.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and the ability to implement and manage them effectively.
• Proven experience in test automation and unit testing.
• Experience working in international and distributed teams, with excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and strategically.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in the insurance or financial services industry.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Advanced degree or relevant certifications.

• Location: Bratislava 
• Schedule: full-time
• Hybrid working: It would be nice to meet you in the office 1-2 times a week, if you live close by. We are also open to hear your preference to work from home more often.
