Financial Modelling & Plan Analyst #LI-Remote
Join our strong PPM team and take on the opportunity to work with leading Business Performance specialists on Group level and in Bratislava. You will work closely with central/local Treasury and PPM teams on financial reporting and monitoring of Zurich Group Financial KPIs within the regular closing and planning processes. Your role
As a Financial Modelling & Plan Analyst, your main responsibilities will involve:
- Modelling: Build and analyze spreadsheet-based financial models to forecast and plan company’s future performance
- Reporting: Cooperate with Group Finance teams on delivery of Close, Forecast and Plan submissions as part of the regular financial reporting process
- Communication: Communicate complex financial results in a clear, concise manner to relevant stakeholders
- Transformation: Focus on continuous simplification by streamlining existing processes, reducing complexity and driving clarity in financial reporting and analysis
Your Skills and Experience
As a Financial Modelling & Plan Analyst, your skills and experience will ideally include:
- Masters degree (or equivalent) in Finance, Mathematics or Business Administration
- 2+ years of experience in Finance, Controlling or in Accounting
- CFA certification is an advantage
- Ability to analyze, develop or automate processes through eg. VBA, Python
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, especially the ability to clearly explain outcomes of your work
- Strong skills in task prioritization and time management
- Strong data management, analytical and financial reporting skills
We offer
In accordance with the EU Pay Transparency Directive, the minimum gross annual compensation for this position, determined based on objective and gender-neutral criteria, is 2 100 EUR/gross. The final compensation package will depend on the candidate’s qualifications and relevant experience.
