We’re looking for motivated early-career talent to join our Internal Controls team. This junior-level role is designed for recent graduates or individuals with up to one year of experience who are ready to kick-start their career in a dynamic corporate environment.
Your Role
As a Junior Internal Controls Testing Specialist, your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting internal controls testing activities for assigned Reporting Units (RU)
- Assisting senior team members in analyzing financial reporting risks and control effectiveness
- Participating in the testing of sensitive controls with confidential documentation
- Contributing to ad-hoc tasks and projects within the ICFR Testing Team
- Delivering assigned tasks accurately and on time
- Demonstrating a proactive and customer-oriented mindset
You’ll be guided by experienced colleagues and receive hands-on exposure to internal control frameworks, methodologies, and corporate compliance standards.
Your Skills and Experience
We’re looking for candidates who ideally have:
- A bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Accounting, Finance, Economics, IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Up to 1 year of professional experience (internships or student projects are welcome!)
- Interest in internal controls, audit, compliance, or risk management
- Fluency in English (B2) and German (B2 or higher)
- Willingness to learn and grow in a structured, supportive environment
- Availability to travel occasionally (approx. 5%)
- Additional qualifications (e.g., CIA, CPA, ACCA, CIMA) or experience in SOX environments are a plus—but not required.
We offer
In accordance with the EU Pay Transparency Directive, the minimum gross monthly compensation for this position, determined based on objective and gender-neutral criteria, is 1800 EUR/gross. The final compensation package will depend on the candidate’s qualifications and relevant experience.
