As a Junior Test Automation Developer, you will support the Quality Assurance (QA) team in delivering testing activities for the CLPW project, with a strong focus on developing automated tests for our React UI and .Net backend using Playwright and other test automation tools. 

Your role
As a Junior Test Automation Developer, your main responsibilities will involve many of:

  • Collaborate with project team members (Business Analysts, Developers, Testers) to achieve testing goals. 
  • Assist in reviewing and analysing User Stories and acceptance criteria. 
  • Develop and maintain automated test cases and scenarios with Playwright and/or other tools, under the guidance of senior team members. 
  • Execute both manual and automated tests, log and retest defects. 
  • Participate in walkthroughs and team meetings to improve your understanding of requirements and solutions. 
  • Help update and maintain regression test suites as the solution evolves. 
  • Support the team in creating and managing test data for executions. 
  • Work closely with developers and testers to identify, document, and reproduce defects. 
  • Learn to use QA tools (such as Azure DevOps) for test and defect management. 
  • Share your learnings and seek feedback to continuously improve your testing and automation skills. 


Your Skills and Experience
As a Junior Test Analyst, your main responsibilities will involve many of:

  • Ongoing or recently completed studies in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 
  • Some experience in software development or testing (internships, university projects, or personal projects are welcome). 
  • Basic programming knowledge (ideally JavaScript/TypeScript, .Net or Python). 
  • Interest in learning test automation with Playwright (prior experience is a plus, but not required). 
  • Willingness to learn database and API testing concepts. 
  • Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset. 
  • Eagerness to learn and contribute in an Agile team environment. 
  • Fluent written and spoken English

Technical Skills (Nice to Have, but Not Mandatory) 

  • Familiarity with version control tools (Git, Bitbucket, or similar). 
  • Exposure to web technologies (React, APIs, .Net) is a plus. 
  • Basic understanding of SQL and database concepts. 


We offer

In accordance with the EU Pay Transparency Directive, the minimum gross annual compensation for this position, determined based on objective and gender-neutral criteria, is 1880 EUR/gross. The final compensation package will depend on the candidate’s qualifications and relevant experience.
