Project Management Officer

The PMO Analyst / Project Management Officer (PMO) role provides project governance and delivery support to ensure effective planning, transparent reporting, and disciplined execution across the project lifecycle.

 

The project is scheduled to be completed by the end of this year.


Your role
As an Project Manager Officer, your main responsibilities will involve: 

 

  • Maintain and continuously update the project and product roadmap, ensuring all milestones, dependencies, risks, and issues are accurately tracked.
  • Monitor project progress against agreed timelines, scope, and budget, and provide regular updates to the team and stakeholders.
  • Prepare high-level stakeholder updates, including visually engaging PowerPoint presentations tailored to business, IT, and executive audiences.
  • Consolidate inputs from developers, product owners, and business analysts into clear and concise reports.
  • Ensure all relevant stakeholders are informed about project progress, upcoming milestones, and key risks.
  • Support planning activities such as sprint planning, quarterly planning, and release planning, coordinating cross-team actions as needed.
  • Organize and support governance meetings by preparing agendas, materials, and minutes, and following up on action items.
  • Constructively challenge developers and other team members on timelines, scope, and dependencies to help remove blockers and keep delivery on track.
  • Promote continuous improvement by questioning assumptions, highlighting potential risks, and supporting enhancements to delivery processes and reporting standards.

 

Your Skills and Experience

As an Project Manager Officer, your skills and experience will ideally include:

 

  • Proven experience in a PMO, project management, or project coordination role (preferably in IT or digital projects).
  • Strong skills in project planning, tracking, and reporting.
  • Excellent PowerPoint skills and ability to create executive-level presentations.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to simplify complex topics.
  • Confidence in constructively challenging team members and stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

 

Nice-to-have

  • Experience in an agile or hybrid delivery environment (e.g., Scrum, SAFe, Kanban).
  • Background in insurance or financial services.
  • Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, MS Project, Power BI, Confluence).

 

 

We offer

In accordance with the EU Pay Transparency Directive, the minimum gross monthly compensation for this position, determined based on objective and gender-neutral criteria, is 1 850 EUR /gross. The final compensation package will depend on the candidate’s qualifications and relevant experience.
