Business Analyst

 

Zurich is continuously improving how we deliver insurance solutions by strengthening the connection between business needs and technology capabilities. As part of this journey, we are looking for a Business Analyst to support the design, development, and implementation of operational and policy administration processes across our insurance value chain.

 

This role offers the opportunity to work at the intersection of business and technology, collaborating with international teams and contributing to scalable and efficient solutions that deliver value to our customers and partners

 

The position is planned as a 1‑year assignment for now.

 


Your role
As a Business Analyst, your main responsibilities will involve: 

  • Gather, analyse, and document business and operational requirements in collaboration with stakeholders across business and technology
  • Support the design and optimisation of policy administration and servicing processes
  • Translate business requirements into clear functional specifications for development teams
  • Collaborate closely with technology teams to ensure alignment between requirements and delivered solutions
  • Support testing activities (UAT), validation of delivered functionality, and ensure operational readiness
  • Assist operational teams in documenting processes, procedures, and workflows
  • Contribute to change management activities, including implementation planning and support
  • Identify improvement opportunities in existing processes and support their implementation

 

Your Skills and Experience

As a Business Analyst, your skills and experience will ideally include:

  • University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Experience in business analysis within insurance or financial services
  • Strong requirement gathering, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Good understanding of policy administration systems and operational workflows
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
  • Ability to translate business needs into structured functional requirements
  • Experience working with both business stakeholders and IT teams
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in an international environment
  • Fluency in English

 

 

We offer

Compensation for roles at Zurich depends on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific role, skill set, level of experience, and subject to applicable law. Zurich thus provides a range of compensation aligned to internal job architecture and market benchmarks to ensure fair and consistent pay for comparable roles. The starting base salary range for this position is 2930 Eur.
