Your role

As IFRS17 Senior Life Actuarial Analyst, your main responsibilities will involve:

• Acting as an IFRS 17 methodology expert, translating actuarial requirements into practical business and system solutions
• Ownership of end-to-end delivery of actuarial development initiatives, ensuring quality and timely execution.
• Drive the resolution of actuarial reporting and implementation challenges across multiple Zurich entities
• Lead collaboration across Actuarial, IT and other teams to deliver and enhance actuarial tools and reporting capabilities
• Facilitate cross-functional discussions, manage stakeholder expectations, and resolve conflicting priorities to achieve effective outcomes.

Your Skills and Experience

As IFRS 17 Senior Life Actuarial Analyst, your experience will ideally include:

• 5-6 years of experience in life actuarial, financial reporting, or related functions.
• Good understanding of IFRS 17 life methodology and experience supporting its application in reporting and business processes.
• Experience with actuarial modeling systems (Prophet, RiskAgility, MG-ALFA) and programming or data tools such as Python, SQL are advantage.
• Demonstrated ability to take ownership of deliverables and independently drive tasks to completion.
• Strong analytical, data management, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and propose practical solutions.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across actuarial, finance, and IT teams.
• Ability to explain complex actuarial concepts and results clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

We offer

Compensation for roles at Zurich depends on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific role, skill set, level of experience, and subject to applicable law. Zurich thus provides a range of compensation aligned to internal job architecture and market benchmarks to ensure fair and consistent pay for comparable roles.

The starting base salary for this position is 2900 EUR/ Gross.
