*Business Practices and Project Consultant
Zurich (Chicago, IL) seeks a Business Practices and Project Consultant to be responsible for leading projects that support global strategic and operations priorities and support the international community through holistically solving for rework and issuance speed as well as removing manual processes. Specific duties include: identify manual processes, or issues that cause delay; suggest and drive system enhancements, process improvements and learning/documentation needs; collaborate with various stakeholders to improve US RC and PC workflows; serve as a subject matter expert for International Programs for Zurich; deal with our largest customers most important issues (reinsurance bookings, captive transactions, layered quota-share structures, prioritization etc.); identify learning needs, work with other teams to implement needed training/documentation, identify trends, drive needed improvements that are specific for international produced programs; collaborate with other countries to optimize the customer experience, problem solving, and simplify systems/processes; work with systems from our IPZ structure engaging with domestic and international teams in different departments and functions; engage in various new and ongoing projects; review new initiatives for potential impacts, considering all stakeholders needs; and report and support backlogs. Position requires IPZ Certification. Position requires occasional travel within the U.S. Option to work remotely with required travel to the Chicago, IL office once a week.
Position requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Business Administration, or a closely related field of study, plus 2 years of experience in the job offered, or as an International Service Specialist, International Insurance Analyst, or similar position that supports global strategic and operations priorities within insurance industry. Must have 2 years of experience with each of the following: working with international insurance systems engaging with domestic and international teams in different departments and functions; collaborating with various stakeholders to improve international workflows; serving as a subject matter expert in international processes and programs, including neo, ips, mia, and ncs; reviewing new initiatives for potential impacts while considering all stakeholders’ needs; leading projects that support global strategic and operations priorities and support international community through solving for rework and issuance speed as well as identifying and removing manual processes; identifying and processing improvements and documentation needs; suggesting and driving system enhancements; identifying trends; and collaborating with other countries to optimize customer experience and structured problem solving experience. Additionally, must have 1 year of experience supporting backlogs and dealing with largest customers’ most important issues. Must have IPZ Certification. Must be willing to occasionally travel within the U.S. Option to work remotely with required travel to the Chicago, IL office once a week.
