Experienced Actuaries-Pricing and Reserving-Future Opportunities

Zurich North America is looking for experienced Actuaries to join our Pricing and Reserving Actuary Actuarial teams.  While these positions can be out of our North American Headquarters in Schaumburg or Chicago, as well as in New York City, Overland Park, and Omaha offices / locations we are offering the flexibility to work both in the office and remotely.   You will collaborate with your manager to set a schedule that supports you, our customers and the team.  

 

Our goal is to continue to bring leading Actuarial talent into the organization and foster a culture of innovation and excellence. We encourage actuarial professionals across multiple industries at various stages in their career to apply with the following minimum exam and experience requirements depending on the role:

 

  • 2+ years / 2 Exams or 3+ years / 5 Exams
  • 5+ years / FCAS or 10+ years / ACAS

Our Actuarial Pricing Teams partner with our Underwriters and Leadership to provide pricing support by completing pricing studies, portfolio deep dives, trend analysis, and creating and maintaining pricing and rating tools. 

 

Our Actuarial Reserving Teams conduct quarterly reviews of reserves & analysis, focus on financial close process, communicate reserve estimates and changes, responds to external audits and rating agency reviews. Both Pricing and Reserving may also support financial planning, forecasting, and Business reviews.
