Senior Performance Analyst I
National Accounts is seeking a Senior Performance Analyst to join our Finance team. This role plays a critical part in delivering timely, accurate, and actionable financial insights that support strategic decision-making and drive business performance.
As a key financial partner to the National Accounts organization, you will collaborate across departments to ensure alignment of financial goals with business objectives. You’ll be responsible for supporting budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis, while also helping shape financial strategies through strong business partnering.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with internal stakeholders to develop and execute financial plans aligned with strategic goals
- Communicate financial insights clearly and confidently to senior-level stakeholders, enabling informed decision-making and alignment on strategic priorities
- Support the development and execution of a performance management framework to track progress against financial goals
- Lead and support operating, strategic, and profitability reviews for the business unit
- Perform detailed financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
- Define data requirements and perform complex analyses to support cross-functional initiatives, projects, and ad hoc requests
- Act as a primary point of contact for financial matters, bridging Finance and the rest of the organization
Qualifications & Skills:
- Proven ability to solve problems analytically and communicate findings effectively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for business partnering
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (e.g., modeling, pivot tables, formulas) and PowerPoint (e.g., executive-level presentations)
- Self-starter with a proactive mindset, able to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong understanding of the P&L
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree and 6 or more years of experience in the Accounting or Finance area
OR - High School Diploma or Equivalent and 8 or more years of experience in the Accounting or Finance area
OR - Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice including Associate Degree and 6 or more years of experience in the Accounting or Finance area
Preferred Qualifications:
- Insurance industry experience
- Strong Microsoft Office experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills

Additional rewards may encompass short-term incentive bonuses and merit increases. We encourage candidates with salary expectations beyond the provided range to apply as they will be considered based on their experience, skills, and education. The proposed salary range for this position is $94,100.00 - $154,000.00, with short-term incentive bonus eligibility set at 15%.
