Strategic Relationship Leader
Zurich North America is currently looking for a Strategic Relationship Leader for U.S. National Accounts. The preference is for the position to be located in Chicago Office.
The Strategic Relationship Leader is responsible for engaging with strategic customers as well as developing and managing the strategy, retention, and long-term profitable growth of these key relationships. Responsibilities also include managing internal product/service and ensuring a clean and efficient delivery at the client level. This role also identifies global opportunities and leverages global resources to capitalize on them.
Key Accountabilities:
- Develop and manage the long-term profitability of our strategic relationships
- Engage with strategic customers at multiple levels of the management structure & develop natural relationships with senior managers through relevant discussion and track and help guide executives involved
- Identify global opportunities and leverage global resources to capitalize on them
- Identify areas of strength and weakness in customer organizations, and evaluate potential relationship returns
- Develop joint value propositions with customers
- Develop a solutions framework with the customer
- Manage the internal product/service dynamic ensuring a clean and efficient delivery at the client level
- Business Travel, as required
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree and 8 or more years of experience in the Relationship Management area
OR - High School Diploma or Equivalent and 10 or more years of experience in the Relationship Management area
AND - 6 or more years management or senior level experience in product/ service/ manufacturing/ financial/ legal
- Experience working at global, strategic, and operational levels
- Experience leveraging global resources to capitalize on them
- Experience managing profitable, external strategic relationships
Preferred Qualifications:
- Deep customer and relationship management, strategic planning, and execution experience
- Experience managing key customers and profitability of the business
- Ability to interact with the C-Suite, strong influential management, thought leadership and negotiation skills
- Knowledge in risk assessments and delivering risk insights
- Strong presentation, communication, time management, and multi-tasking skills
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Customer Relationship Management technology experience
At Zurich, compensation for roles is influenced by a variety of factors, including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. Additional rewards may encompass short-term incentive bonuses and merit increases. We encourage candidates with salary expectations beyond the provided range to apply as they will be considered based on their experience, skills, and education. The compensation indicated represents a nationwide market range and has not been adjusted for geographic differentials pertaining to the location where the position may be filled. The proposed salary range for this position is $164,500.00 - $269,400.00, with short-term incentive bonus eligibility set at 25%.
