Zurich Capability Center is currently hiring a:

Business Analyst

The Business Analyst is responsible for identifying business needs, analyzing processes, and proposing data‑driven solutions to improve efficiency, quality, and decision-making. This role collaborates with cross‑functional teams to gather requirements, translate them into functional specifications, and support the implementation of technology or process improvements.

 

Key Responsibilities

Business Analysis & Requirements Gathering

  • Conduct detailed analysis of current business processes and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Gather, document, and validate business requirements with stakeholders.
  • Translate business needs into functional/technical specifications.
  • Facilitate meetings, workshops, and interviews to collect input from subject matter experts (SMEs).

Process Improvement

  • Map and analyze current workflows using methodologies such as BPMN, Lean o Six Sigma.
  • Propose optimized processes and support change management efforts.
  • Monitor the execution of new processes to ensure alignment with business objectives.

Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Analyze data trends to support business decisions.
  • Develop dashboards and reports using tools like Excel, Power BI o Tableau.
  • Present insights and recommendations to leadership in a clear and actionable manner.

Project Support

  • Collaborate with Project Managers to define scope, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Support testing activities (UAT), defect tracking, and validation of system changes.
  • Ensure proper documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

 

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Economics, IT, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience as Business Analyst or similar role.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Experience with requirements gathering, documentation, and process mapping.
  • Proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
  • Intermediate–advanced level of English (deseable).

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
  • Knowledge of SQL or other data‑query languages.
  • Certification such as CBAP, CCBA, or Scrum Master (deseable).
  • Experience working with ERP, CRM o sistemas internos de negocio.
