FINANCE BUSINESS PARTNER

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the development of business strategy and other initiatives by providing regular, accurate and targeted financial analysis and information.
  • Provide timely and evidence-based information for all aspects of financial performance to improve business decision making.
  • Main point of contact for all complex financial queries in the business, acting as a channel between Finance and the Business Units and Support Functions.
  • Responsible for the invoicing and collection process, reporting of collection model and follow up (monthly basis).
  • Contribute to the annual budget/plan and normal forecasting process by working closely with the business.
  • Ensure that results are robust and delivered within the appropriate timeframe.
  • Provide specialized financial support and advice for business initiatives, such as new business opportunities.
  • Possess extensive knowledge of financial performance.
  • Monitoring of bank accounts and payment schedule to ensure balance of cash flow.
  • Advisor on financial decisions to maintain health and stability of the Center’s finance.
  • Support on creation and monitoring of service agreements.
  • Create and lead financial status presentations on monthly and quarterly basis.

 

Your Skills and Experience

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English (responsible for financial presentations).
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 5 or more years of experience in related field.
  • Experience in building and managing relationships with varied stakeholders.
  • Ability to see the bigger picture as well as maintain excellent attention to detail
  • Able to work independently with a strong sense of responsibility to meet deadline
  • Good software skills in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Familiar with SAP functionalities, ideally with Zurich’s SAP environment
  • Proactiveness/initiative to propose solutions for financial action items
