Multinational Service Account Associate
Job Purpose
Provide underwriting and account servicing support by reviewing risk information, assisting with policy issuance, and ensuring compliance with underwriting guidelines and regulatory requirements. The role supports Underwriters in managing new business, renewals, endorsements, and customer interactions for basic to moderately complex insurance products (including bonds).
Key Accountabilities
- Review, evaluate, and summarize risk exposures, controls, loss history, and financial conditions to support underwriting decisions regarding submission acceptance or declination.
- Follow Underwriter instructions related to policy rating, subjective pricing, policy construction, coverages and exclusions, mandatory forms, and related activities to ensure accurate quoting and issuance of policies (bonds).
- Provide end-to-end account servicing support in collaboration with the Underwriter and Manager for new business, renewals, and endorsements involving basic to moderately complex accounts and products.
- Support Underwriters in broker, agent, distributor, and customer interactions by delivering consistent and professional customer service.
- Respond to written and verbal (telephone) inquiries accurately and within established service levels, under close supervision from the Underwriter and/or Manager.
- Perform other duties as assigned in support of underwriting and business objectives.
Business Accountabilities
- Conduct due diligence on underwriting transactions and processes to assess risk exposure and ensure compliance with applicable regulations and internal policies.
- Assess and evaluate underwriting processes to implement agreed technical standards, controls, practices, and procedures, maintaining underwriting discipline and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Review and manage assigned customer cases, prioritize workload, and interpret established underwriting policies, applying discretion within authorized limits to resolve customer issues.
- Handle and resolve a range of customer and stakeholder queries, providing guidance and support to help develop and retain accounts and create additional value for both the organization and customers.
- Act as a specialist point of contact for internal stakeholders, providing daily advisory support and ensuring alignment between underwriting policy and operational practice.
