Network Security & Operational Engineer
Key Responsibilities
Network Security & Access Control
- Design, implement, and maintain security measures across LAN, WiFi, and WAN networks.
- Deploy and manage Network Access Control (NAC) solutions to enforce endpoint compliance.
- Monitor for security threats, vulnerabilities, and incidents; respond promptly to mitigate risks.
- Ensure compliance with corporate and regulatory security policies.
Network Operations
- Manage day-to-day operations for LAN, WiFi, WAN, and SD-WAN to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Apply patches, updates, and configuration changes to keep network systems secure and current.
SD-WAN & WAN Optimization
- Operate and maintain SD-WAN platforms to ensure resilient, cost-effective global connectivity.
- Optimize WAN performance to support business-critical applications and services.
Stakeholder & Business Unit Support
- Act as the main point of contact for network-related matters for business units across regions.
- Collaborate with BUs to understand operational needs and align network services accordingly.
- Communicate effectively with senior stakeholders to provide updates, manage expectations, and address concerns.
Supplier & Vendor Management
- Manage relationships with third-party suppliers delivering network and security services.
- Oversee service performance, ensuring SLA compliance and quality of delivery.
- Coordinate escalations and resolution of supplier-related incidents or issues.
Continuous Improvement
- Analyze network performance data and recommend improvements for security, reliability, and efficiency.
- Support automation initiatives to streamline network and security operations.
- Evaluate new LAN, WiFi, WAN, SD-WAN, and NAC technologies for adoption.
Collaboration & Documentation
- Partner with IT, cybersecurity, and business teams to deliver integrated, secure networking solutions.
- Maintain accurate documentation of network designs, configurations, and operational procedures.

Required Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- Proven experience in LAN, WiFi, WAN, SD-WAN, and NAC network operations and security.
- Strong knowledge of:
- Security protocols, firewalls, VPNs, DNS.
- SD-WAN solutions (any vendor) — required.
- NAC solutions — required.
- Demonstrated experience managing stakeholders and providing direct BU support.
- Experience managing third-party suppliers delivering network services.
- Experience with network monitoring and management tools.
- Familiarity with cloud networking/security (Azure, AWS) is a plus.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CISCO, Palo Alto, CEH, CISSP) are advantageous.
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, communication, and relationship-management skills.
Nice-to-Have Experience
- Cisco SD-WAN.
- Forescout NAC.
