Software Packaging Engineer

#ZCC is looking for a :

As a member of the End User Computing team supporting Zurich’s End User environment, the Software Packaging Engineer will assist with the delivery of a consistent product and computing experience to the Zurich North America workforce. The Software Packaging engineer role will expand End User Computing capabilities in these areas with a focus on Software Packaging, Testing and Delivery.

The End User Computing (EUC) Software Packaging Engineer will be responsible for:

• All aspects of software packaging and distribution
• Performing start to finish software packaging services, intake, build, customization, testing, and delivery
• Perform software upgrades, new installs, uninstalls and configuration changes
• Ensuring compliance with local and global guidelines
• Troubleshoot and remediate packaging and deployment related issues
• Working closely with EUC Platform team to support implementing policies, procedures, and systems
• Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:           

• Expert knowledge working with MSI / EXE installers
• Expert knowledge using PS App Deploy Toolkit
• Expert knowledge of creating and working with MST’s
• Expert knowledge packaging / repackaging
• Excellent scripting knowledge PowerShell, Batch, VB
• Working experience with Flexera Admin Studio or equivalent
• Working experience with Intune / Microsoft Endpoint Manager / SCCM

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong problem-solving analytical skills
• MSIX based application packages

• Ability to understand and navigate through complex packages
• Able to develop and drive initiatives with minimal oversight or guidance
• Experience in tools like Service now, Active Directory
• Experience in hardware troubleshooting
• Knowledge of Windows 11 / Windows 365 / Office 365
