Part-Time job as Risk Engineering Student at Zurich Insurance

We are currently seeking a service-minded and motivated student to join our Risk Engineering team part-time during their studies. Role Overview: 

As a Student Worker in the Risk Engineering team at Zurich Nordic, your work will mainly involve supporting the team and building your understanding of how we manage risks. In this part-time role, you will assist our Risk Engineers with preparing and carrying out risk assessments, help gather and analyze data, and contribute to reports and presentations for both customers and underwriters. Under supervision and with guidance, you will also support the team in evaluating risks to facilitate the underwriting process.

Key tasks and accountabilities: 

  • Prepare and conduct risk assessments under direct supervision from a Risk Engineer
  • Assist our Risk Engineers with data analysis and documentation, contributing to clear, structured reports and presentations for customers and underwriters.
  • Help maintain and update internal risk management tools, databases, and templates to ensure high-quality data and reporting.
  • Collaborate with Underwriters and other stakeholders by providing relevant information that supports the overall underwriting and risk evaluation process.

You will be hired on an hourly basis and the working occasions are flexible. We expect that you can work about 2 days per week on average parallel with your studies and during semester breaks.  

 

Qualifications: 

  • Currently enrolled in a relevant university program (e.g., engineering, risk management, safety, or similar field).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in both Danish and English.
  • Service‑minded, curious, and motivated to learn about risk engineering and the insurance industry.

  • Proactive, curious and innovative.
  • Demonstrates a high level of motivation and is self‑going.
  • Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively with both colleagues and customers.
  • Analytical mindset with a systematic approach to problem‑solving.
