Zurich Insurance Benelux, we are currently looking for a Bond Administrator to strengthen our Surety team! In this role you will provide support to our clients and team members with the issuance and administration of bonds. In the Benelux, Zurich Insurance is one of the most specialized insurance companies within commercial insurance. The Surety team is a unique team at Zurich, and technically not insurance, but rather focuses on providing guarantees. This is a full-time hybrid role, where you will be working from our office in The Hague, the Netherlands. Part-time can be discussed (minimum of 4 days a week).

 

Key accountabilities

As Bond Administrator, you will ensure the efficient and timely drafting, issuance, and administration of guarantees for our clients. On a yearly basis, the team issues over 600 guarantees. You will be the primary contact for clients, supporting internal stakeholders, and keep an overview of several projects simultaneously. Some of your responsibilities include:

  • Administrate proper, timely and end-to end administration of all bonds
  • Processing of contractual documentation via e-filing
  • Instruct the registration and invoicing of bonds
  • Respond promptly and accurately to requests for information
  • Input data and compile information and reports for internal and external stakeholders

 

What are we looking for?

  • Minimum a MBO or HBO diploma (or equivalent )
  • At least 2 years of experience in an administrative role in an international environment; experience with bonds/guarantees is an asset but not required.
  • Fluent in Dutch and English; French is an asset.
  • Client oriented, service minded, and detail obsessed. 
  • You adopt new systems easily and have solid knowledge of Microsoft Office tools
