This is a fulltime hybrid role where you will be working from our office in The Hague, Netherlands. Parttime can be discussed.

Role Overview

At Zurich, our Claims team plays a vital role in delivering excellent service to our clients. In this position, you’ll focus primarily on handling Property claims. In the long term, you also get the chance to develop on handling other lines, such as Financial Lines or Liability. Your work involves close engagement with stakeholders, gathering evidence, and making accurate claim assessments, all while maintaining the highest standards of integrity and identifying opportunities for recovery or fraud prevention.

Key Responsibilities

• Asses and determine claims, within the approval authorization frame for policies for Property insurance
• Work closely together with brokers and our customers
• Undertake effective investigation to enable accurate and prompt decision making
• Set up and coordinate the process and assess the need for (external) expertise
• You will effectively capture all new claim reports and other relevant information with accuracy
• Effectively manage the claim journey and expectations

Qualifications

• Minimum a bachelor’s degree, a law background is preferable
• At least 2-3 years of experience working with Property claims
• Good technical knowledge along the claims handling core processes
• Excellent knowledge of both Dutch and English (written, spoken) are required
• Service-obsessed: you recognize the benefit of providing excellent service to customers
